I can’t stop looking at this session. It was a kind of regular, cloudy, grey day in Portland, the kind that makes you want to curl up with a cup of tea (or for me…coffee!). Let’s Pretend

Look closely, this is not a drawing. This is a photograph emulating a poem by Shel Silverstein’s poem, ‘Homework Machine’. I created this for my kids, avid fans of Mr. Silverstein. It took a year to get it all together, but it was worth it to give them this memory of how once, when they were little, they were part of one of their favorite author’s creations. Dream Babies

Just as my title suggests, these were the best babies ever…seriously. I had hired another local photographer to help me on this session, because with twins you always need extra hands, however I happened to get not one, but two of the dreamiest babies I’ve ever had. I couldn’t believe how chill these sweethearts were, and we had an incredible time at their session. My assistant, Leah O’Connell, of Firefly Photography was a dream as well, and even though they were easy kiddos, her help just made for a completely smooth session.
