Maternity: Maternity portrait sessions are a lot of fun, and as you can see from the images here, they are relaxed. There is minimal ‘posing’, and the focus is on your beauty – and YES you ARE beautiful right now – and the love you are carrying inside of you. Done on location, in my daylight studio, or a combination of both. Sessions are 60-90 minutes, although we don’t clock it. When I know I have a complete gallery to offer you, then we are done. Additionally, if you need to take a break because, well, you are carrying an extra load, there is plenty of time for that, too. It’s fun and casual, but dress your best! Family: Family sessions are offered on location, or at your home as a ‘lifestyle session’. These sessions are all about being yourselves and are best when everyone is relaxed and having fun with it. Posed shots are not our style, and we prefer to get you and your family in action, whether it be eating ice-cream, having an impromptu picnic, or having a massive cuddle session on your couch, these are all about showing your connection as one unit, your family. Babies and Little Ones: I love, love, love these sessions! They keep me on my toes, and make me laugh…a lot! These children are so beautiful, and usually not really aware of the camera. Once they are, I help them forget, and I love just following them around and letting them guide us by how they want to explore things. If it’s warm, we meet outdoors. I have an extensive list of magical places to do these sessions. If it’s cold, we can do the session either in my studio, your home, or choose a location off my smaller list of indoor gems. I do recommend not bringing too many people along with you, unless they are told by you to not try to get the baby’s attention.
