So far the very best thing about moving to Portland has been that one of my oldest, dearest friends is now only 4 hours away. I’ve been so lucky to have her as a friend throughout the years, she is my soul sister all the way.

This fabulous woman is not only a great friend, but she’s also an uber-talented hair stylist and owns her own super chic salon up in Port Townsend, WA, Wash House Salon, which I’m in love with. She is THE ONLY stylist I would trust to transition me into a hip gray color (as opposed to the boring gray growing from my scalp).

We do a fun trade, and I definitely feel I got the better end of the deal with my hair, but ‘nough said, you be the judge.
