On the first day of their newborn session, I believe we had close to a 17° windchill, and it was terribly uncomfortable for most Portlandians. My studio would NOT warm up past 55°, and it was uber cold inside, so after blowing the breakers with three heaters, we decided to only do swaddle shots, and move the b’day suit pictures to their home two days later. Fortunately, this month was my last month leasing that studio! It was my first, and only winter there, and it clearly won’t work. It’s very disappointing, but this sweet family was so fantastic, and I’m glad we still got some shots there, but ultimately the gold came two days later, when we could get him in all his chubby glory!
